  • In England and Wales, celebrant-led ceremonies are not currently legally binding on their own.

    Most couples choose to complete the legal paperwork separately at a registry office (often a simple 10–15 minute appointment), and then have their full, meaningful ceremony with me — anywhere, in any style, completely personal and beautiful.

    Many couples actually prefer this — it removes pressure and allows the ceremony to be fully yours.

  • A registrar is appointed by the local authority and conducts legally binding ceremonies in licensed venues.

    A celebrant is independent — which means:

    • You can marry anywhere

    • You can include spiritual elements (if you wish)

    • You can write your own vows

    • You can involve family and friends freely

    • There are no scripts or restrictions

    It’s your story, shaped entirely around you.

  • Because they want something real.

    Not rushed.
